David Waite

David Waite is a Master’s degree-qualified counsellor and supervisor serving adults, children, couples and families in private practice. He is experienced with cancer patients and those on the margins of society. He found his vocation after a very practical career in professional design and project engineering. He brought his flair for innovation and problem-solving into a sector which has suffered from stagnation for far too long and consequently underperforms. His unique approach to psychological issues has been derived from doing what a counsellor does best—listening. His work has been published in professional journals. His area mental health provider has referred patients to his meditation programmes run for the public. He has supported programmes in prisons. He campaigns for the reform of counselling practice.
